in the daylight

Last night after the tree fell, they cut the portion away that was in the street. Nothing to see in the picture above except for cop car lights. Guys with chainsaws and a couple of awkward yellow machines cut, pushed, and moved the thing. In the daylight, things look different.

a couple more views

On the street where I live. Please note I was standing in ankle deep water in the dark with my little cheap camera and rain all over my glasses! Who would have thought a tree would fall - the ground was very soft and that tree was not in good shape. It was struck by lightening last year. When it was struck, a bird dropped from the sky onto the sidewalk - or was blown from the tree. I kid you not. Tonight, it is just lucky no one was hurt.

A close call, to say the least!

If a tree falls...

I heard it.

It fell and a branch punctured the window and stopped inches from a woman's head.

New Pictures, Old Players

I'm telling you, it was still snowy out there. We cannot have our coffee on the patio yet.

Really, I worry. It's just my way.

Margeaux, however, hunts.

And Laura? She says she's serious, not about all this triflin' talk.

Really, she's just disgusted.
